GoSoftSolutions is my own small company. I build apps in my spare time because I enjoy making useful things. So far, that means KiddieGo and VeldBook.

What I do

Apps built with purpose

I build apps that solve real problems and are finished with care, not just shipped. Whatever the app, the standard stays the same: software I’d use myself.

I'm not taking on client or contract work — GoSoftSolutions exists purely for my own apps.

How I work

Three principles I stick to.

Understand the problem first

Every app starts with the problem, not the code. If I can't explain who it's for and why it matters, I don't build it.

Boring tech, sharp execution

I pick proven tools — PostgreSQL, .NET, plain CSS — and put the energy into the app, not the stack. Fewer surprises, longer lifespans.

You talk to me

I wrote every line of code, so questions come straight to me. No ticket queue, real answers.

Where I am

South African roots, global posture.

I'm based in South Africa, which keeps me POPIA-native and used to building for real-world constraints — patchy connectivity and prepaid data aren't edge cases to me, they're part of the design.

It also means I build in more than one language: KiddieGo launches in English and Afrikaans.
